Deborah Lippmann All That Jazz Swatches
Today is New Year’s Eve. Do you have your party dress ready? A big event to go to? A hot date to share that sexy midnight kiss? Whatever you guys do, stay safe and have fun. What shade to sport for such a glitzy event? I offer you 3 stunning choices from Deborah Lippmann’s All That Jazz set. Feast your eyes on the beauty of these shades, both in the boxed set and out!
Beautifully boxed, this set offers 3 glittery shades that is sure to light up and complete your New Year’s look. The back of the box includes this description of the shades in this set:
Razzle Dazzle ~ darkened raspberry sizzle
Some Enchanted Evening ~ pink salmon shimmer
Lady Sings The Blues ~ silver-sparkled blue
Without further ado, we begin.
Oh Razzle Dazzle, how you blow my mind. This deep blackened raspberry shade simply stole my heart! I was apprehensive about this one, as I usually am with blackened base glitters. It is so rich and glittery, the perfect magenta glitter shade! It can almost be classified as a jelly really. This shade was the hardest for me to capture in pictures. I may have to retake the close-up pictures especially. Shown is 2 generous coats with no top coat.
Next up is Some Enchanted Evening. This name actually makes me think of Cinderella. It’s a light pink glitter shade in a slightly pink base. The glitters consist of 2 sizes, the more common glitter size and the currently very popular bigger hexagon-shaped ones. This one is meant more to be a top coat because of its opacity (or should I say non-opacity?). Still, I actually prefer to wear this shade alone, as shown in pictures. Shown is 2 generous coats with no top coat.
Lastly, we have Lady Sings The Blues. Undoubtedly the most popular shade in this set, this silver glitter in a dark navy base is an elegant shade that has a subtle glitz. This one, like Razzle Dazzle, has an almost jelly-like finish to it. The glitter comes in 2 sizes, as with Some Enchanted Evening, the more common glitter size and the larger hexagon-shaped ones. The silver glitter seems to get a little lost in the dark navy base, but it still manages to pull out of the dark base to provide the added shine. If I were to wish the glitter to be another color, it would probably be dark blue, but then that would be almost like this other Deborah Lippmann shade called Across The Universe. Shown is 2 generous coats with no top coat.
I have no complaints on this set over here! The formula for all 3 is very decent for glitter shades. Drying time is exceptional. It may require a layer of top coat if you’re one that detest bumpy finishes. The only one that dried a bit bumpy for me was Razzle Dazzle. Some Enchanted Evening and Lady Sings The Blues may have a hexagon glitter corner sticking out here and there, but nothing that would require a layer of top coat for me.
If you happen to get this for Christmas, what a nice present eh? Which one is your favorite? The set is sold out on Deborah Lippmann’s website, but you can still get the individual shades there. Today is the last day for the free shipping over $30 promo they have. Or if you are determined to get the whole set, check with other retail and online vendors that carry Deborah Lippmann such as Nordstrom.

China Glaze Hippie Chic
Today, I have a beautiful red offering from China Glaze. This one’s a coppery red shimmer that is sure to catch other people’s eye!
The formula for this one is smooth and gave me no problems. It is opaque in just 2 coats and dries really fast. It’s a nice, more subtle shade for those who don’t want a fire engine red type of shade.
This would be a nice color to sport this upcoming Holiday season. It’s very versatile and it’s not just plain red. You can get this shade from various nail e-tailers or at a beauty supply store like Sally Beauty Supply.

Rimmel Pop Apricot
Here is one of the few Rimmel nail polishes I own, Pop Apricot. It caught my eye about half a year ago in one of the ULTA stores I frequent.
This shade is from their Lasting Finish 10 Day Wear line. I’m not sure if they have this in their permanent collection still. The name and color of the shade does makes me think of the adjective “fruity”! It is such a fun, light color. Perfect for the summer, but not limited to that season only at all. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
The specks of tiny silver glitter in the light pink, jelly base is simply awesome. Not sure if all nail polish fanatics would classify this as a jelly, but it certainly fits that category in my book. It is quite evident too in the pictures.
Rimmel cosmetic products are available in various retail and drugstores such as Walmart, Target, ULTA, CVS, and Walgreens.
