About Me
Kitty (as her BVI friend fondly calls her) is a wife and mom to a lively preschooler currently living in Tornado Alley. She loves designer bags, nail polish, and food among other things. She loves all sorts of animals especially cats, penguins, and ducks. Brittany Spaniels hold a special place in her heart (RIP Yeager).
She graduated in 2004 with a BS in Accounting, a BS in Computer & Information Management, and a BS in Marketing. She was admitted to the University of Oklahoma to pursue dual graduate degrees (MBA in Business Administration with specializations in Energy and Marketing & Supply Chain Management and a MS in Management Information Systems) and was enrolled in Fall 2008 but put that on hold cause LIFE.
In terms of cooking, she enjoys baking the most but rarely consumes her own baked goods (which doesn’t bother the recipients of the said baked goods). She likes sweet desserts but would take a savory main or side dish anytime over desserts. Her slight allergic reaction to peanuts has never stopped her from consuming one of her favorite chocolate treats, peanut m&ms.
Kitty likes shopping and has a bad habit of collecting things. As obviously highlighted with this blog, this includes designer handbags and nail polish. Her current interests are Asian beauty and stationery.
Her lifelong dream is to be able to cook for a lot of people and to be part of a program that helps clean up and save oil-slicked penguins. She visits the Philippines, her country of birth, every few years and hopes to do so again with her husband and son when the requirements for travel has eased up.
Comments and suggestions are welcomed! Feel free to leave a comment here or you can email her at kittypolishnbags@gmail.com. Follow her on Twitter too!
You know, I knew there was a reason I liked you! I adore penguins too, and ducks, and kitties, and anything cute, really. I’ve been known to have my husband stop the car just so I can take pictures of something cute!
Also, I know you may like peanuts, but a slight allergy can turn into a severe one with repeated exposure. As much as you enjoy them, you really should leave them for the folks who aren’t allergic. (Says the person who gets migraines from pepperoni, but still eats it.)

Haha! I know! I rarely touch anyhthing peanut related anymore. Last time was when someone made me a peanut butter milkshake (cause they were out of chocolate syrup) out of kindness cause I was helping them out with cleaning their pond. I didn’t even think about it until I finished the small cup. My ears itched a little about an hour later but that was it (thank goodness!).

Wow – your blog is fabulous! how are your photos so huge?

I uploaded them to photobucket and wordpress allows me to post the size as is I suppose. I did have to shrink it down to 90% for it to show up right centered though. Not sure how blogspot works with pictures but I’ve always fancied that the pictures are clickable to enlarge!

Hi Kitty:
You must get asked this question so often, I love your Hugh swatches but why only just one finger that is polished shown at a time?
Love your blog.

It’s my personal belief that I can show more detail by focusing on one nail. That’s the primary reason. Secondary is I have 2 fingers that can grow into a length that I feel comfortable capturing in pictures. A lot of times, my nails are of different lengths on the same hand cause I’ve broken then for one reason or another. And when I mean broke, I mean really short!
