I forgot that I got this box in a while ago but never got around to posting it. Here’s what I got in my Walmart Summer 2018 Beauty Box.
I’ve already used the Rembrandt 3 Day Teeth Whitening Boost Kit and the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish sample. I should have blog posts on these coming up soon.
Not bad for $5 at all still!
Hey guys! I have been very busy this past 2 months so the posts have been coming slow. I have a backlog of it now. To kick things off again, today’s post is on what I’ve received in the Influenster Iconic VoxBox 2018 a while ago. Here are the contents of the box:
My favorite item is the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores. I actually already own this product and was about to run out so this came just in time! The most interesting item is the Patchology Wink & A Kiss Kit. I will post a full review on it soon! It was very interesting to try — something out of the box for me. Stay tuned for detailed reviews in some blog posts in the future!

Better late than never! I got this box about month ago but never got around to posting it until now. Holidays are always a busy time for me. I like how they mixed it up a little bit more with this box — I think it’s one of the more different ones from their past boxes. Still a great deal for $5 just to try these out. Here’s what I got in my Walmart Winter 2017 Beauty Box.
Overall, like I mentioned earlier I feel like they changed it up more with this box compared to the previous ones. This is mostly due to the sleeping mask and the flossers. I’m very glad they decided to switch up from the usual travel size shampoo and conditioner. I feel like they’ve done that A LOT. They have a lotion in just about every box too but at least they do change that up I think.
I’m most excited about the sleeping mask! Can’t wait to try it out.
So I actually almost forgot I have this beauty box subscription until an email asked if I wanted to switch it up for something special or stay with whatever setting I have already made in my account. I didn’t want to mess with it so I opted to just stay with my current setting. This popped in my mailbox about a week ago. Here’s what I got in my Walmart Spring 2017 Beauty Box.
Overall, pretty good stuff. In fact, as soon as I saw the lip product I knew that I had to give it to my sister from another mister Renuky. 🙂 It became part of her flip book goodies, which by the way is so much fun to make and hers is the first one I’ve given out so far. I made one for her birthday. 🙂 The shade seems light enough to suit her especially with it being a lip gloss. The first thing I’m trying out is the whitening toothpaste as we’ve been using regular whitening toothpaste and I’m not really seeing any difference so it’s time to change it up!
Stay tuned for reviews on most of these items!
Happy Wednesday to y’all! While I’ve been busy testing products that come my way, not all are hits or near hits. I recently tried something I got from the Walmart Fall 2016 Beauty Box. Here’s my take on the Hello Extra Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste.
What I love about this product? I had really high hopes for this product as it is naturally friendly, vegan and cruelty-free. Directions are pretty much self-explanatory: just use it like any other regular toothpaste. I used it for about a week and it does the basic job of a toothpaste so I can’t complain about that really.
What I don’t like about this product? I didn’t care for the taste really. Maybe I grew up on the artificial mintiness of what most toothpaste are made of but it is what it is. Also, I don’t really see much of a whitening effect compared to other teeth whitening toothpaste. I know that the ingredients in this are probably less harsh but if I’m looking to use a teeth whitening toothpaste then I expect this to perform just as well as other teeth whitening toothpastes in the market and it just can’t compare to those. But if you’re looking for a more natural, vegan and cruelty-free whitening toothpaste then this might be the answer to your prayers. But the combination of the taste and the lack of effectiveness in teeth whitening, I went back to using my regular toothpaste in less than 2 weeks.

I finally, FINALLY got my Walmart Spring 2016 Beauty Box a few days ago. I was wondering if I was even gonna get one since I’ve seen people get theirs a few weeks ago. I thought maybe there was something wrong with my billing or there was some glitch. But nope, here it is in all its full glory:
Everything came packed securely in the sturdy cardboard box.As usual, this box costs only $5. Can’t beat that really in my opinion. I’m pretty sure the contents of my box differed from those that I’ve seen who got them a week or 2 earlier. Maybe they ran out of some stuff but I like pretty much everything I got so I’m not complaining!
The item I’m most excited about to try is the Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser. I actually almost purchased it when I was at ULTA recently. Now I have a sample to try it out first to see if I like it. Hope y’all are having a great weekend so far and stay tuned for my take on some of the items from this box!
Hey guys! How’s the weather in your area? It’s been cold here. I can’t wait for summer already! Today’s post is on another item I got from my Target Summer 2015 Beauty Box #3. Here’s my take on the Colgate Optic White Platinum Express White Toothpaste.
What I love about this product? It does what its supposed to do — it cleans. Can’t go wrong with that. It’s a nice toothpaste with a minty fresh flavor. I do notice that my teeth were whiter after a few uses but it kind of tapers off after that. I’m sure part of it is that it’s maybe as “white” as I can get my teeth to be with a whitening toothpaste and to see the difference I’d have to stop using it for a while.
What I don’t like about this product? It doesn’t seem to have results as good as I get from Crest Pro-Health Advanced with Extra Deep Clean Mouthwash. While it does work, I think I’ll stick with the one from Crest for now.

Everything came in a black reusable sturdy cardboard box. For $7, this is a steal as the estimated retail value of everything here is $35. Being that I loved the past few boxes, I am very pleased with this one.
I am very thrilled with the Clairol Hair Food Moisturizing Hair Mask and Fekkai Pré-Soleil Hair Mist. Those alone made the box worth it for me. As usual it does come with a $3 off $15 coupon on beauty items to use at Target.
The full name of this product is Hard Candy Saturated Lip Color Duo & Brush On Tooth Whitener, but I figured that most readers would refer to this as the Hard Candy Megawatt Smile Lipstick. I believe it’s one of their new products for 2012.
Described as “A lip duo that will have your smile looking perfectly pearly white! One side is a lipstick with a shimmer top coat center core, and the other is a brush-on tooth whitener. Shimmer center core is infused with blue pearls to make teeth appear more white. Tooth whitener can be applied daily for the brightest, shiniest smile around! $6”, this product comes in 8 different shades to choose from.
What I love about this product? It comes in a typical lipstick size, so it will fit in your makeup bag and clutches just fine. The bottom part is the tooth whitener and that comes with a small brush for ease of application. The lipstick part has a nice center core that contains the shimmer in the product. The lipstick itself does not contain shimmer for the shade I got, Picture Perfect. Formula is smooth and creamy. It’s not as dry as some lipsticks I’ve tried. It’s more on the moisturizing side that could almost pass for a lip gloss, but not quite really. I’ve been seeing more and more lipsticks having this texture instead of the traditional ones where it’s more dry. It’s a pleasant change really. It lasts a decent amount of time on my lips, 6 hours or so. There is a minty feel that it leaves on my lips. I’m assuming it’s due to the center core part of the lipstick. The tooth whitener part works just like any other brush-on tooth whiteners out in the market.
What I don’t like about this product? None really. There is a shade for everyone pretty much and the price is very reasonable.
This item retails for about $6 is available exclusively at Walmart.
