MEDIHEAL W.H.P Brightening & Hydrating Charcoal Mask
It’s the weekend again! I used this week to relax and catch up on stuff around the house before starting up work again in the new year. I don’t have any New Year’s plans just like each year in the past. I actually like just relaxing at home and watching the ball drop on TV. I’m not really looking forward to work but it’s life. I took some time to enjoy having a sheet mask on as I go on my day today. Here’s my thoughts on the MEDIHEAL W.H.P Brightening & Hydrating Charcoal Mask.

First thoughts? I got these in a set of 10 on Amazon for a very good price on Prime Day. The sheet mask itself is black in color and the cloth like material is super soft. I like the cuts in this mask as there are some in the eye area towards the nose and I widen those so that the entire mask would lay flat against my face. Their website states “This complexion-perfecting charcoal face mask visibly wakes up dull, tired-looking skin with an instant flush of hydration.” and “Niacinamide (vitamin B3) teams up with Aquaxyl, a super-moisturizing sugar complex, to get your skin looking bouncy and bright. Super-antioxidant açai fruit extract targets uneven tone and texture and leaves you with a dewy-fresh finish.” I left this on my face until it felt mostly dry to the touch — which is over an hour. I rubbed whatever dampness is left over on the sheet mask onto my neck. There is a small amount of essence left that’s enough for at least one round of my skincare routine. The scent is very familiar but I can’t quite pinpoint what it is. It makes me think of some body spray in high school that I’ve smelled a lot of before. It dried down ever-so-slightly tacky but I didn’t mind as I followed it up with face moisturizer.

Any negatives? Nothing at all. I personally am looking forward to stocking up on these when they go on sale. My skin feels and looks great after use. My skin tone does look more even and brighter.

MEDIHEAL Pepta Lifting Ampoule Mask
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas celebration! I’m still off, so I’m relaxing for a bit while squeezing in a few store trips here and there for the after Christmas sales. To relax even more, I slapped on a sheet mask from one of my favorite brands. Today’s blog post is on the MEDIHEAL Pepta Lifting Ampoule Mask.

First thoughts? The first thing I notice is that the scent is very familiar. I’m pretty sure there’s another MEDIHEAL mask with the same scent — just not sure which one. It is slightly perfume-y but pleasant to me. This came in a pack of 15 on Amazon here. The sheet mask is thin and looks translucent holding onto the essence from the packet. It is also very soft in texture. I love that it has cuts in the eye area towards the bridge of the nose as I just use my fingers to widen it a little so the sheet mask lays right against my face. I kept it on until it is dry to the touch – which is almost an hour. I like that this dries down better than the last MEDIHEAL sheet mask I’ve used here. Still a little tacky feeling when I touch my face but definitely much better AND one of my Christmas gifts from my husband is a cute handheld fan that helps with drying my face with whatever is leftover after sheet masking. So that came in handy. I sealed it off with my face moisturizer then followed that up with sunscreen. My skin looks very hydrated, which is great as the recent polar vortex (or whatever you want to call it) hit our area. I found my lips, face and hands extremely dry all of a sudden so this is perfect for the occasion.

Any negatives? While I do like the scent and I didn’t think it would bother me — it is actually pretty strong. Normally scents kind of dissipate a minute or so having the sheet mask on my face. Not so much with this one. So for those that are sensitive to strong scents, keep this in mind. I wouldn’t mind picking up more of these when on a good sale.

MEDIHEAL Pure Calming Mask
Tomorrow is our son’s Pre-K Holiday party! I have made some goody bags for his class of 25. It contains a few pieces of candy, a small Christmas coloring book, a mini water game (do you guys remember those when you were younger?), a mini keychain popit and a vinyl sticker. I hope they all like it! 🙂 To help me relax afterwards, I slapped a sheet mask onto my face. Here’s my take on the MEDIHEAL Pure Calming Mask.

First thoughts? The first thing I notice is the scent. It is minty and herbal — quite refreshing really! This came in a combo pack on Amazon here for $14.99 but I got it for $9.74 before taxes on Prime Day. It’s a really good price for 12 sheet masks if you like them. The sheet mask is thin and looks translucent holding onto the essence from the packet. I love that it has cuts in the eye area towards the bridge of the nose. I just use my fingers to widen it a little so the sheet mask lays flush to my face. I kept it on until it is dry to the touch – which is almost an hour. I had to wait a bit for it to dry down more but it’s still a bit tacky to the touch. I sealed it off with my face moisturizer then followed that up with sunscreen. My skin did look nicely plump and it left me feeling invigorated due to the scent.

Any negatives? Aside from leaving my face slightly tacky to the touch, I don’t see any negatives at all. If I could get this NOT in the set, as I do NOT like the scent of the MEDIHEAL Vital Firming Mask at all (the other one MEDIHEAL Hydra Soothing Mask, is alright in my book), then I’d repurchase this in a heartbeat. I enjoy the scent and how it lifts my general mood up with use.

MEDIHEAL H.D.P Photoready Tightening Charcoal Mask
It’s the middle of the week again and I’m already looking forward to the weekend. I got some more holiday shopping done online today with my husband’s input, so we’re only missing one main gift for someone. I decide to just ask if they have a list or something in mind to make things easier. Hopefully there’s something there so that they’ll be getting something they actually want or look forward to getting. Today’s post is on a sheet mask that I’ve been putting off using cause I wanted to save it for a special occasion or something. But it’s the holidays and these special occasions that I’m thinking of don’t come by often….I might as well use it, right? Here’s my thoughts on the MEDIHEAL H.D.P Photoready Tightening Charcoal Mask.

First thoughts? I got these in a set of 10 on Amazon. At that time, the set was $11.94 before taxes — which is a steal for charcoal sheet masks. The sheet mask itself is black in color and the cloth like material is very soft. Other MEDIHEAL sheet masks I’ve tried have the thin, translucent kind of material. I widened the cuts in the eye area so that the entire mask would lay flat against my face. Their website states “This clarifying mask uses an advanced High Definition Perfection (HDP) solution to visibly blur away texture and imperfections on your skin.” and “Shine-absorbing Binchotan charcoal gets up close and personal with your pores, while feather-light hydration illuminates and diffuses. Boosted with skin-energizing adenosine and pomegranate, it’s your secret weapon for photo-worthy skin.” I left this on my face until it felt mostly dry to the touch — which is over an hour. I rubbed the little bit of dampness left over on the sheet mask onto my neck. There is a small amount of essence left that’s enough for one round of my skincare routine. It left my face nicely moisturized and my pores are noticeably smaller. My face does feel slightly tighter after use. The scent makes me think of baby powder but in a perfume form. It didn’t dry down tacky or sticky at all. It actually dried down quite nice for a MEDIHEAL sheet mask.

Any negatives? Nothing at all. I personally am looking forward to stocking up on these when they go on sale. I like the effect I get after use and I’m definitely saving them for when I want my pores to look smaller.

MEDIHEAL Collagen Impact Essential Mask EX
Ah, Friday! The end of the work week is finally here. I am looking forward to relaxing a bit after a very busy week. I’m putting together a list for Holiday shopping. I tend to be done by the first week of December. Today I decided to try the MEDIHEAL Collagen Impact Essential Mask EX. Read on to see my thoughts on it.

First thoughts? The first thing I did in preparing to write this post was to check out their website for the product description. Just like the MEDIHEAL N.M.F Aquaring Ampoule Mask EX and MEDIHEAL Tea Tree Care Solution Essential Mask EX that I’ve blogged before, the version there is REX instead of EX — so I’m guessing there’s a newer version of this right now. The description for this on their website states “Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin, and Cetyl Hexapeptide-8 help revitalize skin by forming a moisture barrier and supporting skin elasticity. The Bamboo Cellulose sheet forms a tight fit over the skin to ensure maximum delivery of the essence. As the mask dries, it turns white and contracts, providing a slight tightening effect.” Sounds like a very hydrating sheet mask indeed! The sheet mask is on the thin side and looks translucent holding onto the essence from the packet. It is made of a silky cellulose fiber, as stated on both the front and back of the packet. As usual, I rip the cuts by the inner corner of the eyes a tiny bit more so that I can have the entire sheet mask lay flush against my face. I really like the fit of MEDIHEAL sheet masks as it’s almost perfect for my face. I left it on for about 40 minutes when it felt dry to the touch. I took the sheet mask with the leftover essence already on to rub it over my arms, elbows and tops of my feet. My face felt very refreshed with lots of moisture and it looks bright immediately after use. This dries down pretty well compared to most other MEDIHEAL sheet masks I’ve tried so far. I don’t feel it leaves my face as sticky or tacky that I am looking forward to using it again.

Any negatives? I’m not a huge fan of the scent. It reminds me a lot of the MEDIHEAL Vita Lightbeam Essential Mask EX that I tried earlier but thankfully the scent of new magazine goes unnoticed after a minute or so.
