Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Manuka Honey

Did you guys get some holiday shopping done last weekend? I got a lot of it done actually and I didn’t even go to many stores. A good chunk was done online. I’m waiting for the boxes to come in now so I can wrap them all up. Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year for sure. And catching up on posting about my reviews on sheet masks, here’s today’s blog post on the Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Manuka Honey.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Manuka Honey

First thoughts? I’ve tried a few honey sheet masks so far and have been loving it. So my expectations for this one is that it’ll give me the glow like DEWYTREE Help Me Honey! Protecting Mask and DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask did. Both of them were excellent in terms of the effects I got from using it and how it dries down. Well guys and girls, this one’s not bad at all. This dried down not as great as the 2 I mentioned as Innisfree masks, to me, have a stickier or tacky finish BUT if you leave it alone to dry on your skin long enough it’s actually not bad at all. The scent is light and definitely of honey. It felt so nice having it on my face and even when applying the leftover essence later on while doing my skincare routine. The glow is definitely there from using this sheet mask.

Any negatives? I like it a lot but if I have to compare this with the other 2 I’ve mentioned earlier in my post, I’d choose the other 2 just based on how it dries down on my face. It’s close if you leave it alone to dry for a good while. But this is probably my second favorite sheet mask to date from the Innisfree brand.

DERMAL Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask

It’s been very busy for about a week. While we did not end up going to my in-laws for Thanksgiving, my husband did spatchcock and smoke a turkey that yielded the juiciest turkey breast I’ve ever had. A win in my book! We took it easy and didn’t set firm goals on when to have the turkey and stuff as we all just recovered recently from our bout of sickness. The result was a relaxing and easygoing holiday weekend. We did pop out for fresh air but it was all spontaneous as I’d like us to get lots of rest. I did slow down with the blog posting but not with sheet masking. From trying it out a few days ago, here’s my experience in using the DERMAL Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? The scent is a generic bath product type of scent while leaning towards a perfume type of scent. It doesn’t bother me but it’s not my favorite scent. The sheet mask is the standard cotton-y material for this brand that is thicker than most sheet masks from other brands that I’ve used. The essence is viscous with the promise that it’d dry very nicely after use. I was not disappointed in that aspect. I kept this sheet mask on my face for about 40 minutes. That’s when it was dry to the immediate touch. I rubbed the leftover essence on the sheet mask onto the heels of my feet. I chose this one to use on a cold day as I figured my skin needed the moisture since the heat at home due to the cold weather yields winter dry skin. My face looks nicely hydrated after use. I used up the leftover essence in the packet the next 2 times I went through my skincare routine.

Any negatives? None other than I’m not the biggest fan of this scent. And while it does work nicely in keeping my skin hydrated, there is nothing else about this particular sheet mask that makes it stand out from the rest. So this will go under the might repurchase category for me.

Soo’AE Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask

I decided to switch it up today and try a sheet mask from a different brand. It’s been a while since I used something from Soo’AE, so I thought I’d try one of their sheet masks out. My experience was….unexpected. Here’s my take on the Soo’AE Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask.

Soo’AE Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask

First thoughts? The first thing I notice is the scent. At first, I thought it was a generic bath and body product scent but after having it on my face for a while….I think it actually reminds me of laundry detergent. It wouldn’t bother me that much if it wasn’t as strong as it is. I left it on for as long as I can tolerate it — about 20 minutes or so. It was still very wet when I took it off my face but I just couldn’t stand having it on my face any longer. I let it air dry on my face after that.

Any negatives? Aside from the scent, I did not like the texture and feel of the sheet mask. It wasn’t on the thin side but it was rough to me. I actually hesitated putting it on my face. On top of that, I didn’t notice it doing anything for my face. This is definitely not a repurchase for me.

DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask

I’ve pretty much recovered from the cold along with our son. Our son was diagnosed with the flu but wasn’t given anything since he was at the tail end of it when we went to see his doctor. He is back to normal with just some leftover congestion. My husband, however, had some new symptom crop up that led him to a trip to the Urgent Care. Turns out he was positive for strep! He was given antibiotics and eye medication so hopefully it’ll clear up really fast as we’re only a few days away from Thanksgiving. Today’s blog post is on another sheet mask with honey as an ingredient. Here’s what I think of the DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? It smells faintly of honey and is a pleasure to have on my face. The sheet mask feels so soothing and relaxes me the moment I have it on my face. I left it on for about 30 minutes and used the leftover essence on the sheet mask on the heels of my feet. It softened it up nicely! It dries down extremely well and my face is left with a glow. I notice that seems to be a trait of sheet masks I’ve used with honey. My face has an extra boost in glow. As long as I don’t react to it, I think I actually love honey as an ingredient in skincare.

Any negatives? None I can think of. And with the extra boost in glow of my complexion, I can’t wait to stock up on these and try more things with honey as an ingredient.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Pomegranate

The blog posts have slowed down a bit cause our household got some cold going on. I’m trying to finalize what I’ll be making to bring to my son’s Thanksgiving school celebrations. I think I’ll make some cornbread bites or something. Anyway, today’s blog post is on the Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Pomegranate.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Pomegranate

First thoughts? The first thing I notice is the scent. There is a slight alcohol note that is noticeable. I think it’s there on most Innisfree sheet masks I’ve used but it’s more noticeable with this one. Aside from that it’s pretty representative of what I think a pomegranate scent should be. The sheet mask goes on my face nicely. I did tear the inner eye corner cuts a bit more as usual so that every bit of the sheet mask lays flush against my face. It actually feels refreshing and relaxing. I took it off after a good while when it’s dry to the touch. This dried down the nicest of all Innisfree sheet masks I’ve used, so I’m excited to have purchased a 10 pack of these in my last TJMaxx visit.

Any negatives? None really and this dried down the best out of all sheet masks I’ve tried from this brand so far. With how relaxing and pleasant it is to use, I’d definitely buy this again on sale.
