DERMAL Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask

It’s been very busy for about a week. While we did not end up going to my in-laws for Thanksgiving, my husband did spatchcock and smoke a turkey that yielded the juiciest turkey breast I’ve ever had. A win in my book! We took it easy and didn’t set firm goals on when to have the turkey and stuff as we all just recovered recently from our bout of sickness. The result was a relaxing and easygoing holiday weekend. We did pop out for fresh air but it was all spontaneous as I’d like us to get lots of rest. I did slow down with the blog posting but not with sheet masking. From trying it out a few days ago, here’s my experience in using the DERMAL Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Hyaluronate Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? The scent is a generic bath product type of scent while leaning towards a perfume type of scent. It doesn’t bother me but it’s not my favorite scent. The sheet mask is the standard cotton-y material for this brand that is thicker than most sheet masks from other brands that I’ve used. The essence is viscous with the promise that it’d dry very nicely after use. I was not disappointed in that aspect. I kept this sheet mask on my face for about 40 minutes. That’s when it was dry to the immediate touch. I rubbed the leftover essence on the sheet mask onto the heels of my feet. I chose this one to use on a cold day as I figured my skin needed the moisture since the heat at home due to the cold weather yields winter dry skin. My face looks nicely hydrated after use. I used up the leftover essence in the packet the next 2 times I went through my skincare routine.

Any negatives? None other than I’m not the biggest fan of this scent. And while it does work nicely in keeping my skin hydrated, there is nothing else about this particular sheet mask that makes it stand out from the rest. So this will go under the might repurchase category for me.

DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask

I’ve pretty much recovered from the cold along with our son. Our son was diagnosed with the flu but wasn’t given anything since he was at the tail end of it when we went to see his doctor. He is back to normal with just some leftover congestion. My husband, however, had some new symptom crop up that led him to a trip to the Urgent Care. Turns out he was positive for strep! He was given antibiotics and eye medication so hopefully it’ll clear up really fast as we’re only a few days away from Thanksgiving. Today’s blog post is on another sheet mask with honey as an ingredient. Here’s what I think of the DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Honey Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? It smells faintly of honey and is a pleasure to have on my face. The sheet mask feels so soothing and relaxes me the moment I have it on my face. I left it on for about 30 minutes and used the leftover essence on the sheet mask on the heels of my feet. It softened it up nicely! It dries down extremely well and my face is left with a glow. I notice that seems to be a trait of sheet masks I’ve used with honey. My face has an extra boost in glow. As long as I don’t react to it, I think I actually love honey as an ingredient in skincare.

Any negatives? None I can think of. And with the extra boost in glow of my complexion, I can’t wait to stock up on these and try more things with honey as an ingredient.

DERMAL Bamboo Collagen Essence Mask

Oof, I will keep this post short and sweet as we’re all at home battling some cold. Our son is luckily at the tail end of it but I’m only slightly past the eye of it while my husband is in the middle of it. Whatever is going around this year is pretty vicious but I think part of the reason is cause we all cooped up for 2 years or so. Well, here’s to hoping that everyone that does fall sick recovers well from it over time. I managed to use a sheet mask as a pick-me-up and it semi-works. Here’s my thoughts on the DERMAL Bamboo Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Bamboo Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? Ah, back to the good ‘ol DERMAL sheet masks. I chose to use one in hopes that it dries down beautifully since I’m sick and wanted my skincare routine to be as quick and easy as possible. I washed my face and applied my FTE followed by an exfoliating toner. I then slapped this sheet mask onto my face and kept it on until it’s pretty much dry to the touch. I used up leftover essence in the packet the next morning when going through my skincare routine. The essence is clear and viscous like that of all other DERMAL sheet masks. It dries down really well. While my face doesn’t feel extra hydrated or anything, it feels well-moisturized and looks healthy after use. The scent is familiar and I think several other DERMAL sheet masks may have this scent as well. It’s like a generic soap or shower gel scent.

Any negatives? None at all but like several other DERMAL sheet masks I’ve tried, nothing else about it really stands out. I do have a teeny bit of a soft spot for this one cause using it did make me feel better when I was sick.

DERMAL Bee Venom Collagen Essence Mask

The hot days are pretty much gone for the year. While it hasn’t really been freezing yet, it has gotten much cooler than I’d like. Pretty soon it’ll be a daily thing of me sporting some type of coat. While enjoying the last few days of nice cool weather, I have started to slow down a bit with my sheet mask usage. The hot weather we had definitely motivated me to use them a lot. Nevertheless, today’s post is still on a sheet mask. Here’s my thoughts on the DERMAL Bee Venom Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Bee Venom Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? I had the nagging thought in the back of my head to watch out for any skin reactions in using this as some people have been known to react to any ingredient related to bees. Thankfully, I didn’t have a reaction to it. I expected the scent to be of honey or maybe neutral but it actually reminded me of being the same scent as several other DERMAL sheet masks. Of course, when it comes to scent and taste….I can’t really compare anything for sure unless they’re side by side. BUT I will take note of this type of scent, which is something I expected from generic bath and body products, and use the sheet masks in the same category in succession. Then I can definitively say if they are of the same scent or even close to it (you know, since I have 2 more sets of these from Amazon). I saved the leftover essence in the packet and will confidently use it in the essence step of my skincare routine tonight. The essence is clear and viscous. It is on the thin side so naturally it dries down really nicely on my face after use. I left the sheet mask on for about 40 minutes — that’s the standard amount of time I end up having DERMAL sheet masks on my face. My face looks nice and dewy after use.

Any negatives? Nothing really and while it dries down very nicely there is nothing about it that made it stand out from the rest of the DERMAL sheet masks I’ve tried. I will keep this in mind when I want to pick some specific DERMAL sheet masks up when I see them in store.

DERMAL Apricot Collagen Essence Mask

Thanksgiving is the next Holiday event coming up for me. I’m not sure if I’ll be making any side dishes but I usually make honey-glazed carrots at least. And my husband and I always make an apple pie. I think we skipped it the year we had our son. We’ll see what happens when the date gets closer. With the days getting chillier each day, my sinuses are getting messed up. I experience a decent amount of sinus pressure even during the day now. It’s annoying so I look forward to using a sheet mask to just give myself a little pick-me-up. Here’s my review on the DERMAL Apricot Collagen Essence Mask.

DERMAL Apricot Collagen Essence Mask

First thoughts? The scent of this sheet mask actually made my mouth water. It smells of fresh, juicy apricots. I’ll take it even in candy form or something! It made me eager to slap this onto my face. I left it on for a good while until it feels dry to the touch — 40 minutes or so. Like many others from this brand, it dries down really nicely. My face does seem brighter after use and the scent made this an overall very refreshing and energizing experience. I saved the leftover essence in the packet and used it up at least twice the next times I go through my skincare routine.

DERMAL Apricot Collagen Essence Mask (details on back)

Any negatives? Nothing at all. While I wished there was a more noticeable difference in using this sheet mask, the scent made the sheet masking experience very lovely. Scents are very personal and I don’t find many scents that I would gladly tolerate like this one, so pair that along with how beautifully it dries down — this just made it in my repurchase list.
