DERMAL Seaweed Collagen Essence Mask

I like dried seaweed snacks. I like seaweed soup. The scent is not for everyone, so I was concerned about trying out this sheet mask. I am looking forward to all the good things the seaweed can bring but instead of nourishing my body it would be my face. After finally trying it out, here’s what I think of the DERMAL Seaweed Collagen Essence Mask.

First thoughts? This is one of the last few of the 39 sheet masks in a set I got from Amazon months ago. I mentioned that I was concerned about the scent and it turns out I didn’t really have to. It was quite nostalgic for me as I felt like I’ve smelled this somewhere before. It has a slight cologne or body spray type of scent from high school. Either way, it does NOT smell like seaweed to me. I fished the sheet mask out of the packet and placed it over my face, enlarging the eye holes slightly by tearing it gently with my fingers in the cut towards the nose. The sheet mask laid flat on my entire face until it was dry to the touch — about 40 minutes or so. My face looked well-hydrated and it left no residue on my skin. Aside from giving me a pleasant sheet masking experience, it dries down beautifully.

Any negatives? Honestly, nothing. With the scent being nostalgic that I like, this gives me a reason to repurchase this on top of how well-hydrated and soft it made my skin feel. A winner in my book!
