MEDIHEAL Vita Lightbeam Essential Mask EX
It’s the middle of the week again. I’m already looking forward to the weekend, as I’m sure y’all are too. I signed up our son for his preschool’s Parent’s Night Out (PNO) this Friday so that my husband and I can eat out at the local All-You-Can-Eat K-BBQ place, GangNam Korean BBQ. It’s just not worth it to take our son there as he will be charged at least $17 and there’s no guarantee he’ll eat anything there (like literally, at all). So we’ll grab dinner there and watch a movie at home afterwards. Hopefully the movie will end by the time we pick him up. Anyway, I tried a new sheet mask from MEDIHEAL today. Here’s my thoughts on the MEDIHEAL Vita Lightbeam Essential Mask EX.
First thoughts? Scent is always the first thing I notice when it comes to sheet masks and this one stood out quite a bit that I’m starting off with describing that. You know how newspapers have a smell and so does magazines? Well, at first whiff I thought of magazines. Not like the ones that comes with perfume sample inserts like Glamour, but more like Newsweek or something. I don’t find it strong enough to bother me when I have the sheet mask on my face, so that’s good. I dislike the scent of newspapers and magazines growing up so it caught my attention immediately. The description for this on their website states “Skin brightening Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (a Vitamin C derivative), Tocopheryl Acetate, and White Willow (Salix Alba) Bark Extract help brighten and improve skin complexion. Silky cellulose mask fits tightly to the skin, ensuring optimal delivery of essence.” The sheet mask is on the thin side and looks translucent holding onto the essence from the packet. It is made of a silky cellulose fiber, as stated on both the front and back of the packet. I do like that they cut out the extra eye flaps completely. A lot of sheet masks have it still and I have to tuck it under the sheet mask on the under eye area usually. I did rip the cuts by the inner corner of the eyes a little bit more so I can have the entire sheet mask lay flush against my face. The fit of this sheet mask is pretty much perfect on me. I kept it on until it is dry to the touch and took the sheet mask with the leftover essence already on to rub it over my arms, elbows and tops of my feet. My face felt very hydrated and looks bright immediately after use. I find that this dries down so much better than most of the other MEDIHEAL sheet masks I’ve tried so far. It left my skin feeling not sticky at all and not as tacky. So needless to say I’m a pretty huge fan of this and am looking forward to using it again.
Any negatives? None that I can think of. It’s currently one of my favorite MEDIHEAL sheet masks to date. I can’t wait to use it again soon.
