Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Aloe

How is everyone’s week going so far? Mine is like a slow grind with work, but it’s productive still. The weather has cooled quite noticeably since this past weekend. When I stand outside, there is a cool breeze blowing even as the sun is still shining intensely. The breeze on Sunday actually could pass for long sleeved wear for me. I plan on starting to put out the Halloween decorations in the next few days. Today’s post is on a sheet mask I used over the weekend. Here’s my take on the Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Aloe.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Aloe

First thoughts? I thoroughly enjoyed using this sheet mask. I wanted to relax and cool off a bit that day and this sheet mask fits the bill. I spent a good hour at least in the afternoon watching our son play with his dinosaur water table in our backyard. Even though we were in the shade, the sun was out on full blast. I used it after my shower and after using a FTE and exfoliating toner on my face. The fit of the sheet mask is good but not the best among the ones I’ve used recently. There is a lot of essence in the packet that I was determined to pour some of the extra onto the sheet mask after it’s been placed on my face. I lifted the sheet mask on the top of the forehead area and dripped some in there as well as around the under eye area. The essence is lightly scented and is viscous, which makes it very easy to apply on the face as an essence or serum. I saved a little bit of leftover in the packet for that purpose. I removed the sheet mask once it is dry to the touch and rubbed the sheet mask with whatever is left on it onto my neck, arms and feet. I waited for a bit to dry down before applying my face moisturizer. My face did look brighter and hydrated. I think the aloe soothed the redness from the afternoon away.

Any negatives? A borderline negative for me is that it doesn’t dry down very well. My skin is left feeling tacky to the touch even after waiting for a long time (30 minutes at least). I didn’t think it would dry down more, so I proceeded with the rest of my nightly skincare routine at that point. This bothered me the most on my neck as it felt tacky even the next morning. I do not remember the other Innisfree sheet masks being like this. Since I got this in a pack of 10 from my local TJMaxx store for $9.99 before taxes, I will end up using this again in the future and hope that my experience then is better. I mean, it’s the same product from the same batch more than likely so results should be there same – but I can hope! They do have a buy 10 get 10 free deal sometimes on their website and you can mix and match different sheet masks from the same line there. You get more variety for an even cheaper price as it retails for $1.80 each before taxes.
