Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Rice

Goodbye August…hello September! I’m looking forward to the long weekend even when it’s only an extra day that we’re off here. Every day counts! I’m looking forward to slightly cooler weather but knowing how it is where I am….we don’t get that really. It feels like we get really hot weather then really cool weather almost immediately. The temperature fluctuation in the surrounding area had an instance of 100 degrees within 24 hours once a few years ago! The beautiful middle ground only lasts for a few days or so, which sucks. Keeping the sheet mask reviews going, today’s post is on the Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Rice.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Rice

First thoughts? Out of the all the Innisfree My Real Squeeze Masks I’ve tried to date, this is my favorite. The fit of the mask is good and there is a decent amount of essence in the packet. The essence in this one is milky white in color instead of the common clear kind. This is due to the essence being a cream type as stated in the lower right hand part of the packet. The scent on this one is not on the light side but it didn’t bother me enough to write it off completely. It definitely doesn’t smell anything remotely to rice or what I would think of fermented rice products. It’s prefume-y almost….maybe floral? Looking at the ingredient list there are some plant extracts aside from fragrance, so I’m not sure. The scent borders on my limit of being willing to tolerate it. I do love having this sheet mask on my face as it feels very cooling and soothing the entire time. After removing it when the sheet mask feels dry, I let the leftover essence absorb into my face while I rub the leftover essence that’s on the sheet mask onto my arms and the back of my hands. I’m a huge fan of rice skincare products in general as it leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. This one did that as well.

Any negatives? The scent. I wish it was lighter for sure. But based on how much I liked how it feels when I’m using this sheet mask, it is on my repurchase list. I got mine in a pack of 10 from my local TJMaxx store for $9.99 before taxes. I know that they do a buy 10 get 10 free sometimes on their website and you can mix and match different sheet masks from the same line there. You get more variety for an even cheaper price as it retails for $1.80 each before taxes.
