Finger Paints Tie Dye Revolution Swatches

Hey guys! I only have 5 of the 6 shades available in this collection. Here are my thoughts and swatches on Finger Paints Tie Dye Revolution Collection.

First up is Far Out Fuchsia.

Finger Paints Far Out Fuchsia

Far Out Fuchsia is my favorite from this collection. It’s bright and bold with a shiny finish. Formula is better than others in this collection and it dries pretty quick. Shown is 2 thicker coats with no top coat.

Next we have Yellow Out Man.

Finger Paints Yellow Out Man

Yellow Out Man is a lemon yellow crème shade with the same shiny finish as Far Out Fuchsia. Formula is a bit thin and it applied very streaky and patchy on the first coat. Shown is 3 coats with no top coat.

Then there’s Be Hippy.

Finger Paints Be Hippy

Be Hippy is a vibrant blue crème shade with the same shiny finish as the others. The blue is bold and really pops out against lighter clothing and such. It has the best formula in this collection and is quite opaque. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Up next we have Tie Dye Tangerine.

Tie Dye Tangerine is a the orange in this collection. It’s bright and fun with a thin formula like Yellow Out Man but slightly better. It’s not as streaky as it for sure. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Lastly, here’s Peace, Love & Green.

Finger Paints Peace, Love & Green

Peace, Love & Green is the shade I liked least. It’s not as much as the shade of green that I didn’t like even though it’s not my favorite. It’s the finish. This has a different finish from the rest in the collection that I got. It’s almost like rubber finish. I thought at first it’s like a jelly finish but it doesn’t look like it when it dries completely. Looking it up suggests the type of finish I’m thinking of is called satin matte. Shown is 3 thin coats with no top coat.

Overall? It’s okay. I do love the vibrant colors with the shiny finish for the most part and that makes it an even better collection than their last, which is the Picnic In The Park Collection. That green though…..it just doesn’t quite fit in my opinion.

These should be available in Sally Beauty Supply stores and online for around $5.99 each or less if it’s on sale.
