Sinful Colors Petal Be The Day
Hey guys! It’s the middle of the week again. This week’s sure flying by fast for me. The weather will start changing today and we’re officially more or less in tornado season here. Temperatures will dip for a much cooler weekend. Enough of the sad news, here’s Sinful Colors Petal Be The Day.
Described as “royal blue and purple confetti”, this is one of the 3 shades from their Bloomblast Glitters Collection. I expected the base for this shade to be more milky and opaque. It’s a wee bit “clearer” than I thought but definitely not a clear base. The glitters in this shade come in 3 different sizes and are lavender and light bluish that’s more like periwinkle than anything else. The smallest sized glitters are round while the other larger sizes are hex shaped. Formula is pretty good and it dried pretty fast. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.
I actually like this shade more than I thought I would! For a more opaque milky look, layer this over a lilac crème or even try laying on another coat or 2. It’s a buildable shade.
Sinful Colors is available at various retailers and drugstores such as Walmart, Target, CVS, and Walgreens. They’re usually priced at $1.99 but you can score some for as low as $0.99 each when there is a BOGO promo or some special pricing on these.
