Shimmer Polish Amy

Hey guys! How was your long weekend? It was particularly long for me since I went on a road trip with my husband to Yellowstone! It was SO much fun! We took a few extra days off (started moving midday Wednesday) and we traveled from Oklahoma to Kansas then Nebraska and then hit Wyoming. There was about less than an hour where we were driving in Idaho and we had to hit Montana since that’s where our cabin was (I LOVE the cabin!). We came back through Colorado and got back Sunday a little after midnight. We picked up our dog while visiting his folks on Monday and then just relaxed on Wednesday. It didn’t feel enough though (so much that I started planning for our Honeymoon trip!). So it’s been dead here for a while unfortunately, but I’m back into the swing of things with the blog and so here’s Shimmer Polish Amy.

Shimmer Polish Amy

It is described as “pink rainbow” according to the creator. I can see that it is indeed heavy in pink with some light blue glitter pieces peeking out. Glitter is abundant with each thin swipe and formula is just like most of the other shades I own from this brand — with no sinking glitter at all even after a year or so. Formula is thin but applies beautifully. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.

This is a simple pretty glitter shade. I don’t have one quite like it in “softness” per se.

Shimmer Polish retails for $12 each and you can purchase them on the website or through their Etsy store. If none of the shades are quite right, you can request a custom polish to be made in any name you want for $15 each.
