Sinful Colors Silver Rainbows

Hey guys! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was more on the relaxing side. We made the trip down to L-town to see his parents and sister and nieces. It was fun since we got to spend a decent amount of time with them and there was a pool to beat the heat. Even our dog, Yeager, joined in on the fun! He loves to swim! Today’s post is on a shade that was released last holiday season. Here’s Sinful Colors Silver Rainbows.

Described as “slivers of silver”, this is another tinsel or bar glitter shade from their Holiday Tinsel Collection. This shade is made up of silver holographic tinsel glitter in a clear base. The size of the tinsel glitter is on the larger side so it looks chunkier. It applied nicely even though I find the formula for this a little bit on the thicker side. It would look great over all other shades except for silver I think. The color is just too close and I really like glitter shades to pop or have more of a contrast with the base shade. As usual, I chose to feature shades on their own to show what it really looks like. Just like Pink Icicles, I do find that you may have to fish out the tinsel glitter and move them around where you want with the brush or else it will look bare or clumped together in some spots. Shown is one coat with no top coat.

I think this shade would be great over darker crème shades like black or blue.

Sinful Colors is available at various retailers and drugstores such as Walmart, Target, CVS, and Walgreens. They’re usually priced at $1.99 but you can score some for as low as $0.99 each when there is a BOGO promo or some special pricing on these.
