Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss
Hey y’all, listen up! I’ve been trying out several of Milani’s new offerings for 2014 and the one that I’m most excited to blog about are these. Here’s Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss.
These are described as:
- Experience: Rich color, extreme high shine, comfortable lasting wear
- Moisturizing and non-tacky
- Flexible sponge tip applicator for easy application
- Made in USA
These got me excited the most among all of their products with the exception of their Color Statement Lipsticks (Oranges & Reds, Naturals & Browns, Plums & Berries, and Pinks & Corals) released last year and the Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss shades released for the past 2 years or so. While this performed exceptionally well, it doesn’t compare to those 2 products still in my opinion. Product comes in a typical lip gloss tube with a bonus mirror reflecting gold cap and a white sponge tip applicator. You can now check your application even when you find yourself without a mirror on hand — bonus! Pigmentation is superb for these gorgeous lip glosses and formula is very pleasant to apply with a slight hint of stickiness. One thing I HATE about lip glosses in general is the high level of stickiness. This one only has a hint of it, so I’m not overly conscious thinking about it in case the wind ends up catching my hair and flip it all over my face. Your hair WILL stick to it still even though it’s not as sticky as other lip glosses I’ve tried from other brands. My lips stay moisturized as long as it lasted. There is no flavor to these and it bears a vanilla scent that dissipates after a good 10 minutes or so. The scent is similar to their other lip gloss products, but lighter on the vanilla aspect compared to those. The finish for all shades vary from cream to shimmer and frost. As usual, my favorite would be the shimmery ones. This is available in 14 different shades and I have 5 on hand to show you swatches. For each shade, I applied 2 gentle strokes onto my arm to show what it looks like with how I usually apply lip glosses.
These retail for $5.49 each and should now be available in retail stores where Milani is sold. Otherwise, try nabbing it online on their website.
