Sally Hansen Gilt

Happy Friday y’all! I’m looking forward to the weekend. It’s been a shorter week for me but work has its busy spurts and it’s wearing me down. Today’s post is on another shade from Sally Hansen’s Lustre Shine line. It’s not the most popular one, but it definitely holds on its own. Here’s Sally Hansen Gilt.

Sally Hansen Gilt

Gilt is almost like a rose gold really. The duochrome property is very light. The color shift is probably more evident when the shade is used over darker shades. I see hints of pink or lavender and a very faint tinge of green in some angles. Formula is pretty good and it dried pretty fast. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Sally Hansen Gilt (in shade)

Sally Hansen Gilt (direct sunlight)

Sally Hansen Gilt (close-up)

Sally Hansen Gilt (the hint of green more evident on the bottle?)

Sally Hansen Gilt (pinkish rose gold color shift)

This should be available generally wherever Sally Hansen is retailed.

  1. I only have one from this collection and at the moment I can’t remember the name but it’s the popular one. I still haven’t used it but still would like to get the rest of the collection probably when they make it to the dollar store. LOl! Walgreens still has these up to $8.00 a pop and seems no one is buying them 🙂

    • No, sir! $8 won’t go for me! I scored 3 of these in Walmart once for $2.50 each and was happy with that. You might have Lava. That is one of the most popular ones from this line.
