Minas Tirith Franken

Lord Of The Rings fans will know what the name of this franken refers to. I have always loved that name and have long wanted to make a franken for it. On the first try, I came up with something very close to this and just tweaked it more to get it to what it is now. It is also known as The White City in the book, as the courtyard in the front of the city’s Citadel contained the White Tree of Gondor. I always remember it as The White City due to walls of all the levels are white with the exception of the first one, which is black. Without further ado, here’s Minas Tirith.

Minas Tirith

Minas Tirith is a pretty opaque white creme shade speckled with tiny holographic glitter particles. Want to know a secret too? I actually incorporated a little bit of some silver holographic shade into it, but it doesn’t show up much. The glittery is more visibly present in the bottle than when applied on the nails, but it’s there. The result makes me think of cookies and creme ice cream with a bit of sparkle here and there. I liked it, so it’s here to stay. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Minas Tirith (see the sparkle?!)

I think I’m going to sport this again on my nails soon.

  1. Pretty! It looks a bit like marble, on your nail. Highly appropriate for Minas Tirith, the city that did not fall 🙂

  2. This is beautiful! It reminds me of granite, almost… like it’s got a hidden secret of glittery veins, bits of hidden treasure to tempt you with. Gorgeous!!
