Dr.’s Remedy Fall Fever Collection consists of 3 shades that one can sport from Fall into Winter. That’s the trend I’ve been noticing lately with Fall shades from all various brands. Not a bad thing really. I’m all for being able to use things for more than one season. 🙂
First up is Defense Deep Red.
This one’s described as “a rich bordeaux with a mystifying matte finish” and is right on point. The finish for this vampy shade is jelly-ish and matte. I found it very intriguing. However, this not as opaque compared to the other 2 shades featured below. I see some patches still on my nail after my standard application. Formula is the trickiest of the 3. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
Next up is Balance Brick Red.
This shade is described as “a modern maroon with body and balance” and I prefer this shade over Defense Deep Red. It is easier to apply too. The formula is thinner, but applied nicely on the nail. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
Last up is Noble Navy.
This one has the best formula among the 3, based on my experience. “A sea-at-dusk shade that reflects light and brings dimension to tips and toes alike” is how this shade is described. I do like this shade a lot. I can see this shade in Winter too. It applied onto my nails smoothly and dries pretty quick. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
These come in the standard 0.5 fl oz bottle and retails for $17 each on their website.
