Curtsy & Bow Intimate Sand
Hey guys! Today I have a shade from a very young company called Curtsy & Bow. Curtsy & Bow is a new luxury nail line that is organic. Even so, their products are said to hold up to the wear and tear of everyday life. It is “an organic nail protector that strengthens nails using a mineral based chemistry, which formulates a coating that protects nails from peeling or weakening.” It has the ability to last up to 10 days with proper maintenance. I posted the press release of their Yacht Club Collection not too long ago and this shade is from that collection. Here is Intimate Sand.
Intimate Sand is described as “a powder pink solid lacquer” and it’s almost spot on. Powder pink is a tad lighter than that for me. The formula for this one was watery when I first started applying it. It thickened up pretty fast and I had to redo my swatch 3 times. The other shade I got from them applied nicely and smoothly. I decided to go with one thick layer instead of trying for my usual 2 thin coats. Shown here is one coat with no top coat.
Your experience may differ from mine with this shade and like I mentioned earlier in this post, I have another shade from the same collection and it applied nicely. So don’t cross this off just yet guys!
Curtsy & Bow lacquers come in a 0.5 fl oz glass bottle topped with a recyclable aluminum cap and are priced at $15 to $20 each. You can see the list of salons that carries Curtsy & Bow or purchase this on their webpage here.
