The last of the Glam Slam! sets is finally out. This collection features the least amount of shades, but doesn’t end things quietly at all. I honestly didn’t expect much based on the press release. I thought they’re nice, but nothing spectacular really. Here are swatches for the 2 Serena Williams Glam Slam! US shades.
First up is Love Is A Racket.
This one’s a little tricky to capture in pictures. Not sure what is up with red offered by OPI lately, but they don’t translate well into photos for some reason. Love Is A Racket is a red shimmer with some flecks in it. Compared to the press release photo, this is much better looking in person. Formula was nice and smooth, a bit on the thin side. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
The second shade in this set is called Pros & Bronze.
Pros & Bronze is a beautiful rose gold with a finish that reminds me of the shades from Zoya’s Sunshine Collection. Foil metallics almost really. Formula was beautiful and it dries pretty fast. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
Sorry I don’t have a boxed set shot. I know that they usually come in nice boxed sets (like Glam Slam! France), but these didn’t come to me that way this time. What do you guys think? Will you be getting any of these?
These should be available in various retail stores nationwide such as ULTA and Trade Secret.
