Sally Hansen Spring 2011 Collections
I have been wondering what Sally Hansen will offer for Spring this year and they have 2 lovely collections for us! These will be available in mass retailers by March 2011.
“For Spring 2011, Tracy Reese redefines favorite silhouettes and offers women simple yet sexy looks for effortlessly chic dressing. Reese took inspiration from the classic spirit of travel, evoking the pleasure of immersion in a new environment with a mellow 70’s influence. Distinctive details bring to life classic styles in a palette of white alabaster and nude with shades of blue and pops of orange for an exotic touch. Safari-inspired looks like lace-up bodice shifts and hot shorts in perforated faux-leather are contrasted against tribal details like wood and iridescent beads.
To complement the collection, Tracy Reese collaborated with Sally Hansen for the tenth consecutive season to create sexy, modern nail color shades, evoking the exoticism of the spring collection.
The seven shades in the limited-edition collection are made with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, an all-in-one formula that combines all the 5 steps of a professional salon manicure – a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, rich color and top coat in a single multi-tasking polish.
On the runway Tracy debuts Wicked Bamboo, an exclusive nail design she created using Sally Hansen’s most advanced nail color technology, Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. It’s real nail color with ten day wear and no drying time.
The limited-edition shades ($6.99 each) and Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips ($9.95) will be available in Spring 2011.”
“At Prabal Gurung this season, sharp tailoring and restrained silhouettes are complemented by graphic prints and a bold color palette. With Gurung’s signature attention to form, structure and detail, each piece combines quiet strength and femininity.
To complement the collection, Gurung collaborated with Sally Hansen to create a very modern collection of nail shades, evoking the designer’s signature use of bold color. On the runway, Gurung used the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in “Without A Stitch” accented with a subtle stripe of “Casting Call” to create a signature look to reflect his spring 2011 collection.
The exclusive Sally Hansen collection includes
Runway Red-y – Apple Red
Paparazzi – Metallic Taupe
Without a Stitch – Nude Shimmer
Model Behavior – Sky Turquoise
Casting Call – Strawberry Mango
Strike a Pose – Opalescent Pearl
