Fright Night Claw Swatches

After Halloween, everyone knows that it’s a good time to score deals on candy. Retailers aren’t just carrying candy though. They carry Halloween themed items such as costumes, props, decorations, and makeup. Nail polish is just one of the many forms of makeup that I spotted on sale after Halloween. I was lucky enough to score some at Walmart. These 3 shades are the only ones I scored that I liked.

Fright Night Claw Toxic

Fright Night Claw Poison

Fright Night Claw Blue

All covered well with just 2 coats. I did not use a top coat with these. The formula is really great. Not watery or thick at all. There isn’t much to say about the brush. It’s nothing compared to the lovely brushes we find with salon brand polish. For the price though and being that it’s a seasonal item, I can see why they didn’t put much into the brush.

The green is really pretty. It caught me by surprise! I didn’t think I’d like it at all.

I knew I’d like Poison as soon as I saw the color in the bottle. I was hoping and praying that it wouldn’t be one of those shades that look awesome in the bottle but is too dark on the nail. The shimmer is stunning.

This is the very first one I saw, which sent me into a frenzy searching for the rest of them. I mean, it was on clearance after all and at 90% off….everyone was scrambling to get EVERYTHING. I had the same fear for this shade that it might come out too dark on the nail. I was very wrong. It’s a beautiful blue shimmer. Funny thing though is that all the names of the shades they released were all Halloween themed except for this one. Blue? Really? That’s it?

I can’t wait to see what shades (and names) next year’s Halloween brings!
