things that Kitty likes

Orly Alabaster Verve

Orly Alabaster Verve is a light, slightly dusty pink with a hint of shimmer. It’s a very work safe color, though not close to a nude or neutral by any means. It’s a “safe” color though to sport for school or work, places with some form of a professional dress code.

The shimmer is more evident and so much prettier under direct sunlight. The flecks it has gives a really nice shimmer to this shade. The formula is smooth and nice but nothing special or different that makes it stand out from other brands really. Shown is 2 generous coats with no top coat on.

This shade was a little surprising for me. I didn’t expect to like it a lot until I noticed it has some shimmer to it. Definitely prettier on the nail than in the bottle. It was a little disappointing too because I expected the beauty of this shade to pull through in all different types of lighting and well……it didn’t really deliver. Not bad though if you got this on sale. I did have an extra one but it went fast on my Sale/Swap page. See? I thought maybe I’d like it so much that I got an extra one. It’s off to a better home now though. My collection is just not big enough for the both of them.
