Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss

Hey guys! Taking a small break from polishes to show you guys these nice lip glosses from Jordana. I still think I like their sister company, Milani, better. But they’re not bad at all, really! And at the prices their products are selling for, you might want to check them out. You can get more bang for your buck on lots of their products! Today’s post is about Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss.

Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss

These are described as:

  • Fun & Flirty Colors
  • Patent Leather-Like Shine
  • New Slanted Soft Applicator
  • Made in USA

These are very easy to use and are similar to the common wand applicator lip glosses out there in the market from various brands. The applicator is what is commonly known as the doe foot applicator. It spreads the lip gloss nicely over my lips. The formula is only slightly sticky – just enough to stay on the lips. There are a lot more choices than shown above, so be sure to check them all out and pick the shade you want. At the price point it sells for though, you can afford to load up on several of them without feeling a huge pinch in the wallet. It has a light cucumber melon or watermelon scent. These don’t last very long, only a few hours, but that’s excpected for me with a lip gloss. Swatches shown below are for the following shades from left to right: OMG, XOXO, BFF, GR8, ASAP, TTYL, BTW, and E-123. For each shade, I dabbed the lip gloss on to show what it looks like clearly.

Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss (in shade)

Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss (lighting changed)

Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss (direct sunlight)

These retail for $1.99 each. I’d gladly pay that price for the shades I like. My picks among those shown would be GR8, ASAP and TTYL. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana Easyliner For Eyes Retractable Pencil

Jordana’s hit another home run with these! I’ve been a huge fan of some of their other eye liner lines such as Glitter Rocks and Metal Rocks. Of course, I was hoping I’d love these too so I’ll have all bases covered when it comes to Jordana eye liners. Here’s Jordana Easyliner For Eyes Retractable Pencil.

Jordana Easyliner For Eyes Retractable Pencil

Jordana Easyliner For Eyes Retractable Pencil (shot to show the shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Retractable – No Sharpening Required
  • Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula
  • Excellent Color Coverage, All-Day Wear
  • Convenient & Easy to Use
  • Made in USA

Just like most other Jordana products, these are nicely pigmented and very easy to use. I find these to be a cross between the Glitter Rocks and Metal Rocks eye liners. It doesn’t take much to get the color on, but it didn’t apply as easy to get a good pigmentation like Metal Rocks eye liners. No sharpening required, just twist for more product. These lasted for a good 12 hours on me. It does vary with other environmental conditions such as humidity and stuff because it did last me only about 8 hours on some days. It is slim and easy enough to slip into small clutches as well, making touch-ups a breeze. Swatches below are shown for shades above from bottom to top. For each shade, I swatched the eye liners with 3 even strokes.

Jordana Easyliner For Eyes Retractable Pencil Swatches

These retail for $1.99 each. I’d gladly pay that price and swoop up every single shade I could possibly use. I couldn’t find Seagreen, so that’s the only one missing from this entire line in the pictures. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

One of the few makeup products I use every few days is mascara. A good mascara is hard to find. I have tried many and there are still lots to go. Recently, I tried one from Jordana. Enter Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara.

Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

This is described as:

  • Immediate Extreme Volume
  • Buildable Formula Without Clumping
  • Long-Lasting Power
  • Made in Italy

The shade is a pretty dark black. It is easy to use – just apply like regular mascara. The effect I got from using this mascara is a little bit on the clumpier side. It does provide volume, but the thicker formula may not be for those that don’t want any volume due to slight clumpiness at all. I like the look it provided me. Lasting power is pretty impressive. It survived a whole work day for me without having to reapply it. No raccoon eyes at the end of the day – definitely a good thing!

This retails for $2.99 – a great price for this mascara! This product is available in one shade only (black) right now, but I’m hoping they’ll come up with a brown one at least for those that prefer a lighter shade for your lashes. You can get this on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss

This product is like a blast to the past for me. I recall using a similar product from Mark of Avon and actually liked it a lot. I used it til the tube ran dry. Naturally, I can’t help feeling a little bit excited when I came across these. Enter Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss.

Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss

Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss (shot to show the shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Click Pen – Easy To Use
  • Hint of Flavor & Splash of Color
  • Vitamin E to Protect Lips; Aloe for Added Moisture
  • Made in Canada

These are very easy to use. Just twist the body to get product flowing to the brush tip and apply as needed. A little goes a long way, so keep that in mind when you’re twisting away. You can easily overdo it and will end up with lip gloss dripping out instead. Formula was nice and only slightly sticky on the lips. Huge NOTE here, only slightly sticky!!! I like that it’s not as sticky at all as some lip glosses from other brands can be. It’s just sticky enough to stay on the lips. It provided just a tiny sheen of color on my lips. I had to reapply it after eating or drinking, but that’s expected from this type of product. Lips stay moisturized for the whole duration the product stayed on. There are a variety of scents to choose from and while they are not true to scent, the slight artificialness didn’t put me off at all. Since brushing it onto my arm would look kinda funny, I opted to click a little bit more to get dollops of the product out instead. Swatches below are shown for shades above from bottom to top.

Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss Brush

Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss Swatches

Jordana INCOLOR LipShine Glaze Brush On Gloss Swatches (direct sunlight)

These retail for $1.99 each. Not a bad price at all compared to similar products from other brands (hello Stila, I’m looking at you!). You can get this on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana Glitters Specialty Nail Polish

Anyone else excited about these?

Jordana Glitters Specialty Nail Polish

These are available on their website for $2.99 each and will launch at Kmart in February 2012. I have verified that these will not be available at Walgreens.

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner

I’ve never used a liquid liner I liked. I draw right on the water line and the liquid liner usually spreads on my eyes due to its viscosity. I recently got the opportunity to try one from Jordana. It’s their INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner.

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner (shot to show the shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Felt-Tip Precision Liner
  • No Skipping or Dragging
  • Convenient & Easy to Use
  • Dramatic Eye Definition
  • Made in Italy

These are nicely pigmented and extremely easy to use. No tugging at all or need to apply pressure. It glided on nicely. It’s just as viscous as other liquid eye liners so I had to adjust my eye liner application technique with liquid eye liners. I applied it right at “outer” waterline (away from the eye, but still part of the waterline). This avoid the liquid liner from spreading to my eye. The felt-tip reminds me of a permanent marker, but it’s actually quite effective on getting product nicely to where you want it. Lasting power is pretty impressive. It survived a whole work day for me without having to reapply it. Swatches below are shown for shades above from left to right. For each shade, swatch on the left is one swipe of the eye liner and 2 swipes beside that on the right.

EDIT: I forgot to address the “stitch” look in the swatch….it’s just how it looks swatched on my arm when I run it. Plus, the picture is definitely more close-up than what people would normally see when they look at you. It doesn’t look like that on the waterline! :)

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner Felt-Tip

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner Swatches

Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner Swatches (with flash)

These retail for $2.99 each. Not a bad price at all for what you’re getting. I still prefer pencil eye liners, but this is a good one to have for those that use liquid liners. You can see in the swatches that they’re very pigmented for just one swipe of the product. This product is available in 2 shades only (black and brown), as shown above. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil

Jordana’s hit a home run with these! Now, I don’t own any other lip liners apart from these except for a sample Chanel one that my polishnbags sister sent me to try out. I can’t really compare these to any other brands, so this is just an overall review for the product itself. Here are their Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil.

Jordana Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil

Jordana Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil (shot to show the shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Retractable – No Sharpening Required
  • Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula
  • Excellent Color Coverage, All-Day Wear
  • Convenient & Easy to Use
  • Made in USA

These are nicely pigmented and very easy to use. It doesn’t take much to get the color on, so no tugging at all or applying a good amount of pressure. It glided on nicely. No sharpening is always a very good thing. Most of the shades didn’t last as long as I wanted to (mostly faded by the end of a normal work day), but it does wear well (the fading away of the shade isn’t noticeable at all). The size is easy enough to slip into small clutches, making touch-ups a breeze. Just use these with lip color shades that are close to or, what is usually suggested, a shade lighter than the lip liner. Swatches below are shown for shades above from bottom to top. For each shade, I swatched the lip liners with 2 even strokes.

Jordana Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil Swatches

Jordana Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil Swatches (with flash)

These retail for $1.99 each. At that price point, you might as well pick up a couple that best matches the lip colors you use most. There are a couple of shades more they have that is not shown in this post. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana 7″ Eyeliner Pencil

Hey all! Today I have another set of eye cosmetic products from Jordana. It’s their 7″ Eyeliner Pencil, available in 10 shades of which 7 are shown here.

Jordana 7" Eyeliner Pencil

Jordana 7" Eyeliner Pencil (shot to show shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Rich, Dense Color Resists Fading
  • Line, Defines, Accentuates
  • Stays Put in All Weather
  • Made in USA

Truth be told, I find these subpar compared to Jordana’s other eye liner pencils such as their Glitter Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil and Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil lines. It takes a little bit of elbow grease to get it working right. I thought maybe there is a layer of wax preventing it from being pigmented when I tried it out. It didn’t show up much. It applied much easier onto my arm when swatching than my water line though. It does last for a while, but not close to the other 2 lines I mentioned earlier from them. Swatches below are shown for shades above from bottom to top. For each shade, swatch on the left is one swipe of the eye liner and 2 swipes beside that on the right.

Jordana 7" Eyeliner Pencil Swatches

Jordana 7" Eyeliner Pencil Swatches (with flash)

These retail for $1.29 each, so you’re not breaking the bank by getting a couple to just try them out. Your experience may differ greatly from mine, but I’d personally skip over these and get their other eye liners instead. They’re more pigmented, applies smoother and lasts much longer. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil

Hope y’all are having a great Thanksgiving Holiday! Today’s post is about something I’m a real newbie with. I think partially it’s because I have my eyebrows tattoed on. But I try everything once at least. :) Enter Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil.

Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil

Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil (shot to show shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Fills In, Defines & Colors Brows
  • Creamy, Long-Lasting Formula
  • Sharpens to a Fine Point
  • Made in Germany

I liked how creamy it is as opposed to the waxy, hard type of formula that a lot of other brands have. These are quite pigmented and very easy to use. The lasting power is impressive. I survived full work days without any touch ups at all. The shade I used on myself is Dark Brown. I didn’t use the brow brush end much, but it did provide the combing action my eyebrows needed when there’s a couple hairs going astray. The downside? Well, I was hoping that the 3 shades differ more than they actually do for people who have lighter eyebrows such as on the blonde side or even a redder shade of brown for redheads. Maybe Jordana is cooking up more shades to come? Swatches below shows the color payoff with three strokes of the product on my arm. They are shown in the order as the shot above from left to right (Taupe, Medium Brown and Dark Brown).

Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil Swatches

Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil Swatches (with flash)

These retail for $2.99 each. And since I don’t have any other eyebrow liners, I’d pick these up again when I run out. They are decently priced for the color payoff and lasting power of the product. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens and KMart stores.

Jordana Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil

Today’s post features another one of Jordana’s eye cosmetic product. If you read my previous review on their Glitter Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil, I was quite impressed by their eye products so far. This one is even better. Here is their Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil.

Jordana Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil

Jordana Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil (shot to show shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Retractable – No Sharpening Required
  • Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula
  • Creamy, Intense Metallic Shine
  • Long-Lasting, East to Use Shimmery Colors
  • Made in Germany

I find these to be very easy to use and carry. Formula is much smoother than their Glitter Rocks eye liners. Very nice and it went on very smooth over my waterline. It’s very pigmented and wear for this is excellent. I didn’t have to retouch at all during the whole work days (9AM – 6PM) I’ve tried this product, just like with the Glitter Rocks eye liners. This reminds me more of Jordana’s sister company’s eye liners (Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil), but it’s not even close to it in terms of a buttery smooth formula (that one glided on sooooo easily). Swatches below are shown for shades above from left to right. For each shade, swatch on the left is one swipe of the eye liner and 2 swipes beside that on the right.

Jordana Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil Swatches

These retail for $2.99 each, a great price for eye liners! I’d definitely buy these again when I run out. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. A reader mentioned that Jordana is also available at KMart.

Jordana INCOLOR Squeeze n’ Shine Super Shiny Tasty Lip Gloss

Hey guys! Today’s post is short and sweet for a full review. With lots of variety and available now at Walgreens, here are some Jordana INCOLOR Squeeze n. Shine Super Shiny Tasty Lip Glosses.

Jordana INCOLOR Squeeze n' Shine Super Shiny Tasty Lip Gloss

These are described as:

  • Moisturizing Transparent Tints & Shimmers
  • Tube with Slanted Applicator Tip
  • Made in USA

These are very easy to use and not too sticky compared to the same product from other brands. The Clear one has no scent or taste and the others smell and taste as expected. They’re all different in terms of what kind of tint and shine it leaves on your lips. Some are more shimmery or tinted than others. They don’t last very long on the lips after activities such as drinking or eating, but that’s expected with a lip gloss really. For the price tag it comes with, not bad at all! From left to right, swatches below are Berry Cute, Be Coralful, Strawberry Icing, Honey Luau, Clear, and Sugar Lips. The lighting for the in shade shot made my skin look so much redder than it really is. Some are really close to each other when swatched. See below for what I mean.

These retail for $1.99 each, a great price for each of tube! You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. There are 6 other shades to choose from that is not shown above.

Jordana Glitter Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil

Today’s post features more goodies from Jordana Cosmetics. Today, we are moving on to some eye products. One of the 2 main eye products I use is eye liner (the other is mascara). I don’t use this on my face everyday because both my upper and lower waterline, also known as lashline, is tattoed on. It has worn down over the years (the lower waterline in particular), so I do use eye liner once in a while. Just not everyday. :) Here is Glitter Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil.

Jordana Glitter Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil

Jordana Glitter Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil (shot to show shade names clearly)

These are described as:

  • Retractable – No Sharpening Required
  • Breakthrough Glitter Formula
  • Long-Lasting, East to Use Shimmery Colors
  • Made in Germany

I find these to be very easy to use and carry. Formula is not as smooth as other eye liners I’ve tried (such as their Metal Rocks Retractable Eye Liner Pencil), but that’s mainly because of the glitter formula I think. I will admit I was wary with these having glitter in them. I was concerned about glitter getting into my eye and such. But my worries were put to rest when I tried them out. They glided on okay. As I mentioned earlier, it’s not as smooth as other eye liners I’ve used before. I had to glide it a few times gently over my waterline. Once it’s on, it’s quite pigmented and you can definitely see the glitter. Wear for this is excellent. I didn’t have to retouch at all during the whole work days (9AM – 6PM) I’ve tried this product. Swatches below are shown for shades above from left to right. For each shade, swatch on the left is one swipe of the eye liner and 2 swipes beside that on the right.

These retail for $2.99 each, a great price for eye liners! You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. There are 3 other shades to choose from that is not shown above.

Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color

If you guys haven’t noticed, Jordana Cosmetics is now available at Walgreens! I spotted them there 2 weeks back and today I’m going to show you a couple of shades from one of their products, the Easyshine Glossy Lip Color.

Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color

Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color (shot to show shade names)

These are described as:

  • Fun Pop Of Color
  • High Impact Shine Finish
  • The Perfect Combination of Color, Flavor & Shine
  • Made in USA

I find these to be a cross between a lipstick and a lip gloss. They are not super opaque or pigmented like lipsticks, but they have more color than tinted lip glosses. There is a good variety to choose from, ranging from matte to shimmery shades. The scent on all of them is not heavy at all and quite pleasant to my nose. The flavor varies. Most of them doesn’t bother me with the exception of Sweet Strawberry surprisingly. It’s not what I thought how it would be compared to strawberry lip products I’ve used before. I barely noticed any scent or flavor with Sugar Cookie. Texture is not sticky at all and it is very moisturizing. It glided dreamily onto my lips during application. Lasting power? I went for 6 hours without having to retouch it at all. If you frequently eat or drink throughout the day, you will have to reapply pretty much each time after that. Shown below are in ascending order of the #s from left to right, which is the opposite in the shots shown above. I labeled them in the first shot below for convenience.

Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color Swatches (direct sunlight)

Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color Swatches (closer shot)

These retail for $1.99 each, cheaper than a lot of other options out there. You can get these on their website or at your local Walgreens. My favorite among these 6? Berry Colada! Not too red, not too pink and has just the right amount of shimmer. ♥

For reference: Sugar Plum, Watermelon Juice and Sweet Strawberry are cremes while Berry Colada, Raspberry and Sugar Cookie are shimmers.
