Kitty (as her BVI friend fondly calls her) is a 31-year-old girl currently living in Tornado Alley who loves designer bags, nail polish, and food among other things. She loves all sorts of animals especially cats, penguins, and ducks. But no insects please.
She graduated in 2004 with a BS in Accounting, a BS in Computer & Information Management, and a BS in Marketing. She was admitted to the University of Oklahoma to pursue dual graduate degrees (MBA in Business Administration with specializations in Energy and Marketing & Supply Chain Management and a MS in Management Information Systems) and was enrolled in Fall 2008 but had to put that on hold with the needs of her awesome job.
In terms of cooking, she enjoys baking the most but rarely consumes her own baked goods (which doesn’t bother the recipients of the said baked goods). She likes sweet desserts but would take a tasty main or side dish anytime over desserts. Her slight allergic reaction to peanuts has never stopped her from consuming one of her favorite chocolate treats, peanut m&ms. Note, “never stopped her” – so yes, peanut m&ms have been confiscated from her before.
Kitty likes shopping and has a bad habit of collecting things. As obviously highlighted with this blog, this includes designer handbags and nail polish. Other collection of hers includes formal dresses (think prom or evening gown wear), bikinis (even when she can swim but can’t tread in water), silver gemstone and costume jewelry, TY Beanie Babies, Sanrio stickers, Hallmark and various Asian stationery and cards, beauty items from various brands, and Victoria’s Secret lingerie (from specific lines in 2006 to 2007 mostly).
Her lifelong dream is to be able to cook for a lot of people and to be part of a program that helps clean up and save oil-slicked penguins. Yes, insert laughter here. She has always gotten strange looks for this. She visits the Philippines, her country of birth, every few years and would love to settle in Hawaii eventually.
