Milani Textured Creams Swatches

Won’t ramble much about these. All are 2 coats with no top coat. All are very easy to apply and dried pretty fast. Formula is consistent on all shades, which is on the watery side, except for Tainted In Red. This is evident on the first coat, but any concerns or worries you may have with regards to this will be washed away with the second coat. Definitely need at least 2 coats for the proper texture effect. And as you may have guessed it right, do let current layer or coating dry completely before applying the next coat. This prevents dragging that results in patchy spots. Here are the swatches for Milani Textured Creams Swatches.

Here’s Shady Gray.

I didn’t like the colors that much honestly when I first saw the press release here. But these are very opaque, bold and pretty bright. Perfect for summer. It screams fun and playfulness. A win from Milani I say! My favorite is Spoiled In Fuchsia, Yellow Mark and Aqua Splash. Some shades look even better with another coat like Aqua Splash.

These retail for $4.99 each and should now be available in retail stores where Milani is sold. They are on sale right now for $2.49 on their website right now!

  2. They’re all great, but I love Spoiled In Fuchsia & Aqua Splash the most.

    • Spoiled In Fuchsia is awesome! And if you do get Aqua Splash, add another layer of it and the color just pops!

  3. I have only been able to find 2 colors (902-Spoiled In Fuchsia & 906-Shady Gray) in my local drugstore and I love them both. Both colors look great against my richer skin tone, but there is something about the look of the Shady Gray that I am addicted to. It will definitely be a go to for me. Application is simple. There is no special process. You just apply it like a regular polish. Two good coats is all you need. Any more and it starts to smooth out a bit and you lose the nice texture. I chose not to use a top coat because I liked the finish as it is. The texture and matte finish really makes the colors look velvety. It almost has the look of Stucco with the same kind of rough texture. I think you will either love of hate the feeling. It is not a sandy texture so, it does not flake off. It does not really snag on clothing or in your hair at all, but it may scrape more delicate fabrics like satin or silk if rubbed too hard. I find it to be very rugged and can take a lot more abuse than a regular nail polish. It took me doing some serious pot and pan scrubbing before I had any signs of chipping. This lacquer takes a good beating.

    • The texture is smoother compared to the Zoya Pixies. Those are gritty. This is smooth texture-y.
