Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + Balm

Hey guys! I’m on a nail care spree here. It’s that time of the year! I can’t stress enough how important it is to moisturize, moisturize and moisturize! I featured a nifty hand cream a few days back and now I have a cuticle eraser and balm to share with you guys. Here’s Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + Balm.

Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + Balm

The 0.28 oz / 8 g cuticle eraser and balm comes in a clear twist open plastic container similar to those of lip pots for some lip balms. The front text of the packaging reads “Removes dry cuticles & moisturize in 1 step!” and on the side it reads “White Tea & Cucumber are known to soothe and promote healthy skin as they defend against environmental stress.” while the back of the product packaging states the following:

WHAT IT IS
Combination remover and creme quickly eliminates excess, ragged cuticles & hangnails as it conditions nails and healthy cuticles.

HOW IT WORKS
Salon tested, 2-in-1 formula with white tea & cucumber, gently & quickly loosens & exfoliates stubborn, overgrown cuticles while leaving skin feeling deeply moisturized.

THE RESULTS
Instantly, healthy, beautiful, conditioned cuticles that look up to 80% smoother.*
*Based on consumer perception testing.

TO USE
Massage a small amount into cuticles until completely absorbed. Use a cuticle pusher, if needed, to help further loosen hard to remove cuticles. Use daily for maximum benefits.
Wash hands before applying polish.

What I love about this product? I don’t like the scent of cucumber at all, but the scent in this product is so light that it’s tolerable. I also have a few independent testers try it out and they gave high praises to this product. They love the smell and it kept their cuticles soft and nice. The cuticle eraser part really does work with regular use. I completely agree with their assessment. My cuticles have never been in better shape!

What I don’t like about this product? Nothing really. While I do think that there are other better balms out there, it’s a huge plus that it’s a 2-in-1 product.

This product retails for about $7.49, depending on where you purchase it and it is available in various retail and drugstores such as Walmart, Target, ULTA, CVS, and Walgreens. It is also available online at various websites that carry beauty and personal care products.

No-Miss Flame

Hey all! It’s Thursday once again! Today’s shade is one that I have considered sporting on Christmas Day itself. Here’s No-Miss Flame.

No-Miss Flame

Flame is a fiery fuchsia glitter shade. The glitter in this shade is nicely packed in a bright fuchsia jelly base. I LOVE how it looks just by itself. The glitter in this shade just GLOWS! For more opacity, I definitely recommend using it layered over a pink or red shade. Maybe even an orange! Shown is one thick coat with no top coat.

No-Miss Flame (direct sunlight)

No-Miss Flame (close-up)

I love how the glitter in this shade pops!

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

Hey y’all! How were your holidays this year? I hope that everyone is having a blast with family and friends. Not to mention all the food and presents! It’s been a great holiday for me and I look forward to a brand new year soon. For the first time being in Oklahoma for the holidays….I experienced a white Christmas! And believe me, it was the first time that I didn’t mind the cold so much either. I’m just….happy. :) And this brings us to today’s post. I know it’s a late one for the day, but I thought it’s an important one for everyone. With the cold weather, I find myself reaching over for my hand creams and lotions – whichever I can get my hands on really. Today’s post is on Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream.

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

The 2 oz / 56 g hand cream comes in an easy squeeze tube container with a screw top cap. The front text reads “fragrance free” and “just a dab heals dry skin” while the back of the product packaging states the following:

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream delivers effective relief for dry, chapped hands.

It is so concentrated that only a small amount instantly leaves even dry, cracked hands noticeably softer and smoother after just one application. Used daily, it helps prevent dry, chapped skin; used overnight, it heals dry skin – even under the harshest of conditions.

It started with Norwegian fishermen. Faced with some of the harshest, coldest weather on earth, they used a formula that delivers concentrated levels of glycerin to dry, chapped skin providing immediate and lasting relief. Five years of independent clinical testing confirmed what the fishermen knew all along – Norwegian Formula Hand Cream consistently outperformed other products. Today, the Norwegian Formula product line includes a variety of body, hand and foot moisturizers to meet your individual dry skin needs.

Just a little goes a long way. This 2 oz tube contains over 200 applications.”

What I love about this product? Neutrogena products have always been known to be of high quality and this is no exception. The hand cream is clear in color, gel-like really. Formula is smooth and not greasy at all, but very moisturizing. A little goes a long way. My tube is not even close to being done and I’ve used it about 40 times at least. Scent is nonexistent, which is great for everyone pretty much. I know a lot of people around me that prefers to have a good scent free moisturizer and have a hard time finding one. This product and others from the same line might just be the end of their search. It is reasonably priced and available at mass retailers nationwide.

What I don’t like about this product? Nothing at all. This is definitely on my list to buy once I run out.

This product retails for about $5.49 and can easily be purchased in various retail and drugstores such as Walmart, Target, ULTA, CVS, and Walgreens. It is also available online at various websites that carry beauty and personal care products.

INOVA Professional Silk Keratin The Miracle Mask

Hey guys! It’s Friday again! I hope the week is going well for all of you. Brr! The weather got really cold fast and I’m sporting my furry Russian style hat already. I worried about making my hair flat but comfort won of course. Anyone who knows me well knows that I enjoy staying really warm. Today’s post is a detailed review on something I’ve been trying for months now. Here’s INOVA Professional Silk Keratin The Miracle Mask.

The mask comes in a tetra pak-like packaging with a white plastic twist open cap. The back of the packaging states the following:

“Formulated with avocado oil, keratin protein, silk protein and white carnation oil to provide intensive nourishment and hydration. The Miracle Mask repairs split-ends and other symptoms of dry, weak, and damaged hair, while simultaneously detangling and improving manageability. Hair will be healthier, luxuriously smooth, and with brilliant shine.
To Use:
Use as a weekly treatment. cleanse hair with Silk Keratin Smooth Protection Shampoo. Rinse thoroughly, then towel dry hair to remove excess water. Using fingers, apply The Miracle Mask evenly to hair, comb hair to ensure even distribution. Let the mask sit for 20-30 minutes. To boost penetration, apply moderate heat. Rinse hair with lukewarm water. Follow up with Sheer Magic to seal and style your hair. Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.”

INOVA Professional Silk Keratin The Miracle Mask

What I love about this product? I initially thought it would be a hassle, but it turned out not that bad after all. I followed the instructions and just put my hair up after application and went on to do some house chores for the time recommended. Just start out with a little bit as a little goes a long way with this product. It rinses out pretty well and it left my hair smelling great and feeling super soft. No tangles at all. The scent reminds me a little bit of bananas. The effects of this product lasts for a few days through a few washes. Hair is smoother and more manageable. I love using it as a deep conditioning weekly treatment for my hair.

What I don’t love about this product? If I had to be super picky, the price. But even when the product retails at $48 for 17.6 fl oz / 500 ml, I feel like the quality and the results I get justifies the price tag. This easily lasts me for at least 6 months with the amount I use each time.

INOVA Professional products are available on their website and at various salons. I’ll have the review of one last product from this brand that I’ve tried up in a few days.

No-Miss Electric Blue

Hey guys! Hope you all are ready for the Holidays. Christmas is only a few days away. I’m pretty much done with my Christmas shopping. I just have one more thing coming in the mail. I hope it will come in time. :) Today I have another shade from No-Miss. Here’s No-Miss Electric Blue.

No-Miss Electric Blue

Electric Blue is a bright blue glitter shade. The glitter in this shade is decently packed. They’re suspended in a clear base. It looks great by itself actually. Funny story relating to the name of this polish is that the paracord color I wanted to hook around my Nook is of the same shade, electric blue. What’s with me and blue lately? Go figure. I’d try layering this over other shades that are close to blue such as violet or even purple. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

No-Miss Comet

Happy Friday y’all! Today’s my company Holiday party. I have a dress picked out already and my hair is not flat today. My nails are still bare. I haven’t decided what to put on if anything. I did dig up a swatch I took a few days ago. Here’s No-Miss Comet.

No-Miss Comet

Comet is an iridescent glitter shade that shines purple and light greenish blue mostly. The glitter in this shade are hexagon in shape. The glitter is decently packed, suspended in clear base and the color tint looks really well even in shade. It looks pretty nice by itself and probably even better when layered over other shades. Its beauty is drowned under super bright sunlight though, as shown below. But in different angles under the sun it sparkles nicely. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.

Sally Hansen Copperhead

Hey y’all! Hope you guys are all having a great week so far. Christmas is coming up really fast. I baked close to 200 cookies or so and brought it in to work. Gone by the end of day 2, so I’m a happy girl. :) I’ll be making more either tonight or tomorrow night. Today’s shade is a fun one from Sally Hansen’s Lustre Shine line. Here’s Sally Hansen Copperhead.

Sally Hansen Copperhead

Copperhead is a coppery brown duochrome shade. The duochrome property isn’t quite as strong as I expected it to be, but it’s there. It just looks so much more promising in the bottle. It has a slightly frosty property to the finish. It went on smooth and dried pretty fast. Shown is one coat with no top coat.

Happy Friday y’all! This week sure has flown by fast. It was super productive for me in general. I also got the last of my polishes that I was waiting for in the mail, so I’m a happy girl. :) Today’s post is on a glitter shade that piqued my interest greatly. Here’s No-Miss TNT.

No-Miss TNT

TNT is a black glitter shade that makes me think of strawberry seeds. I bet it’d be perfect for a strawberry themed mani. The black glitter is suspended in clear base. It is decently packed and formula is great. It dried pretty fast. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

ECCE Don’t Be Afraid

Hey guys! We’re in the last leg of the holiday season! Are you guys all done with your Christmas shopping yet?! Today’s shade is another franken from ECCE. Here’s ECCE Don’t Be Afraid.

ECCE Don’t Be Afraid

Don’t Be Afraid is a gorgeous twinkling shade. It actually makes me think of Essie’s Starry, Starry Night but much brighter. Formula for this is decent. I get nice coverage with the opacity of this shade. Shown is one thick coat with no top coat.
