Finger Paints Summer In The City Swatches
Middle of the week and very busy here, so I’ll try to keep this short. Here are the swatches for Finger Paints’ summer offering in the order of the press release.
First up is Beach Bound.

Finger Paints Beach Bound
Beach Bound is a creamy purple creme. It is pretty pigmented. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Next is Flip Flop.

Finger Paints Flip Flop
Flip Flop is a bright raspberry pink creme. It’s almost fuchsia to some, but I still consider this a raspberry pink. I love how bright and juicy this one is. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Next is my favorite, Late Night Rendezvous.

Finger Paints Late Night Rendezvous
Late Night Rendezvous is a vibrant blue shimmer. I love this type of finish. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Next is one that they’ve released recently for 2012, Movie In The Park.

Finger Paints Movie In The Park
Movie In The Park is a purple glitter shade. It is best used layered over other shades since this is basically blue and purple glitter in a clear base. I opted to keep it light to show how it looks as is. Shown is one coat with no top coat.

Next is Sexy Sundress.

Finger Paints Sexy Sundress
This one is the shade that made me go WTF?! Allow me to explain. See how it looks in the press release? Yeah, I was expecting a beautiful yellow creme. But no, I end up with yellow-green creme that makes nme think of Shrek. Oh well, I’ll still be thinking about that wonderful yellow creme shade that could’ve been. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Last up is To-teally Hot.

Finger Paints To-teally Hot
To-teally Hot is such a perfect color for the summer. It’s a mix between turquoise and teal. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.

Overall? I like them all, but Sexy Sundress was such a letdown. I wish it was what it originally was supposed to be. A bright yellow would’ve made this entire collection better. But not bad at all. These shades should be available in Sally Beauty Supply stores and online for $4.99 each.

This product is absolutely amazing it really gives my nails a lasting effect. I would purchase this again in the future. It really does not chip as fast when using this top coat.
