Deborah Lippmann Resort Shades Collection
Some of you have seen swatches of these already, but here’s the press release anyway. One word to summarize how I feel about these 2? Pretty.
NEW RESORT SHADES – SPRING 2012
I found inspiration for my Spring 2012 lacquers from the beach this season! I wanted to create something that felt like a vacation no matter where you are; whether you’re away or just dreaming of it. The vibrant blue and shimmering green shades evoke a peaceful, relaxing feel that reminds me of being seaside. To me, these colors express that easy, breezy and carefree feeling you would have on vacation, which I’m hoping you’ll channel every time you look at your nails.
I wanted to evolve from my signature glitters and develop something that was more universal and glamorous with a satin-like finish. The combination of shimmer and pearl used in Mermaid’s Dream is the perfect evolution, and the result is wearable and unique.

On The Beach is the French Riviera in a bottle. Even if you can’t get there physically, you will be reminded of beautiful bodies of water when you look down at your nails or toes.

When I began the creative process I wasn’t focusing on wearing the colors together, however, they can be mixed and matched. Whether you wear one shade on your nails, the other on your toes, or use Mermaid’s Dream on one nail and use On The Beach on the other four, the creative options are endless. They can be worn any way you want, so just have fun with it and let the color suit your mood.

Mermaid’s Dream is so pretty. I know this sounds so lame but I dont own any Deborah Lippmann polishes, but I would love to get this one as my 1st one. By the way this is Dawn (CamaroGirl2011-on Twitter) Love your blog.

I can see it as your first one to have of her polishes! I don’t think she has anything else like it. All her glitters aren’t like this at all!

Mermaid’s Dream Is really pretty! If I were to get a Lippmann polish this one would be it along with 2 others.
