things that Kitty likes

Pupa M003

Today’s shade comes all the way from Italy. One of my best friend’s went on a trip with his family and friends last year. He wanted to get more polishes along his trip, but only managed to score this one. It was actually not the one he intended to get. He thought it was a glittery shade, knowing that I prefer those over cremes. I think he just grabbed the bottle at the back of the rack of the glitter shade he actually wanted to pick to ensure it hasn’t been tested. Here’s Pupa M003.

Pupa M003

I think Pupa is one of those brands that don’t have names really, just numbers. M003 is a very vibrant dark purple creme shade. It actually has a pretty shiny finish. Formula is very good and went on my nails as smooth as butter. It reminds me a lot of the formula of some OPI cremes that I absolutely love. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.

Great color payoff here! I actually wish that this brand is readily available here in the US. I wouldn’t mind snagging those glitters my friend saw along with some yummy, vibrant cremes like this!

    • Thanks! He compensated the shortage of polishes with imported chocolates. LOL!

It’s so much fun to get polishes that are from another country and have no outlets for them in the country you live in. I need to learn to use MUA and find some good trade partners in other countries. Brands we take almost fore-granted on availability, others have a really hard time getting.

    • Yes! It’s good that we now have an avenue for some Australian and Brazilian polishes. Even Asian ones really! But others are harder.

    • The brand name makes me think of pupae….you know, the cocoon stage of a butterfly. The bottle kinda goes with that, but I’m not sure if that’s all in the plan really or just a coincidence!
