OPI Pink Shatter: Pink Of Hearts 2011

In time for October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, OPI created a new shade called Pink Shatter, in line with their annual Pink Of Hearts edition lacquer released every year. For more details, read the press release here. Pardon the state of my cuticle area. It was really sore from swatching and I had a small cut that was healing. Can you say ouch when I have to use remover? :(

I didn’t use white to show how it would look over other shades. I used it over Milani Breezy and it shows how the Pink Shatter would show up over a shade where it didn’t turn out as pink as you think it would. Pink Shatter has a slight shimmer to it, but it’s more sheer than what you might think and it shows in the swatches. Formula is typical for a shatter shade and it dries really fast. Shown is one coat with no top coat.
