I haven’t featured a green shimmery shade lately and thought I’d do that today. Maybelline is a brand that is known to me for face cosmetics as opposed to nail lacquers. They do a good job though based on my expeirence with this shade. I scored this baby sometime last year at my local Dollar Tree. It sent me into a Dollar Tree frenzy, hitting every single one I could to grab all the shades from this collection. As most of you know, being that it was found in Dollar Tree means that most likely it has been discontinued. From their Express Finish line, here is Maybelline’s Lime Aluminum.
I know, I know. That is not the clearest photo. My camera had trouble focusing when I took the picture. I think I was trying to take the picture showing the polish and my finger at the right proportion to the final picture and since the bottle is smaller than my regular bottles it was having focus problems. Hopefully the following swatch pictures will make up for it.
Much better, eh? This is a lime green shade with lots of teeny silver specks that make up its shimmer. Quite beautiful! I have no problems with the application at all. Formula is nice and smooth. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
You can still score this beauty, if you’re lucky, at your local Dollar Tree stores or on eBay.
