Finger Paints Pas-tel Me More
This is the first Finger Paints shade I will be featuring on my blog. I usually get them at my local Sally Beauty Supply store when they’re on clearance. I like them but they’re not one of my favorite nail polish brands (yet!). My first introduction to Finger Paints was on a round robin swap a few months back on this online forum I belong to. I got a really pretty red one, which I will feature sometime later on, and ever since then I have become more perceptive to the brand when I visit my local Sally Beauty Supply stores.

This is a light pink shade that makes me think of cotton candy. It’s very pretty with a subtle shimmer. The only downside to this shade, for me, is that I found out during application to the nail that it is like a frost polish. I encountered those dreaded brush strokes. But the good thing about it is that the brush stoke problem with this shade isn’t as bad as it is in frost polishes, which is why I don’t consider this one a frost. The formula is pretty thin but not watery. Shows is 2 coats with no top coat.

See what I mean about the brush strokes? I was able to “correct” the brush strokes I didn’t like. Drying time for this one is pretty fast. I was able to layer on the second coat in a few minutes after waving my hand wildly in the air. This is definitely a work and school safe color.
The quality of the lacquer is pretty good for the price and when compared to other brands. I highly recommend picking one up when given the chance. Give it a try!
